From the moment we drove down the tree lined driveway to the house sitting right on the coast we fell in love with the place. "Overall, our stay was good. Weather did not cooperate. Property was nice. The upstairs master bedroom could use a king size bed instead of a fold up bed. The basement bedroom and porch need work. There should be actual heat, not a space heater. Very musty smelling in the basement."

"A magical setting for a summer family reunion. The home - full of history and character - is steps from ocean, meadow, and forest. And Ben, the proprietor, couldn’t be more informative, kind, and thoughtful. He was spot-on with all of the area’s gems, and the surprise homemade berry/rhubarb pie was a huge hit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much, Ben!"

"This cute little house was just the right size for my husband and me. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. However, the drawback of that is that it is at least a 30 minute drive to get to anywhere. Bar Harbor is an hour's drive (and we were not in peak season - it is probably longer if we had been). There were a few things to do closer, but you still had to drive as there are no shoulders on the road and consequently walking felt treacherous. This is not a criticism of the property - if...
