The room was charming and breakfast was delicious. The staff was great. The only issue was the traffic noise, which is beyond their control. Overall we had a great stay.

Nice change of pace

Beautiful bed and breakfast. A wonderful change from hotel living. Careful, narrow stairs and no elevator, but if you are good with that, an excellent choice within walking distance to Brown.

This b&b was lovely. The staff was so welcoming and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and they had a drink station set up and fully stocked for use all day along with some games and books you could borrow. There were a few eating options within a block or so and several sites and different neighborhoods were within walking distance. We only stayed one night, but I wish we had stayed longer.

Beautiful room! The immediate area is a quaint neighborhood with a coffee shop next door, but it is too far to walk downtown; we took an Uber back at night because even during the day, we felt a bit unsafe walking past the State House and along the river before getting to RISD. In the future I would definitely drive and park downtown instead. Breakfast was the best I've had in a B&B! The check-in process was slightly confusing: you need to only ring the doorbell once and then just trust that they have heard you and are on their way, even though you may have to wait a minute (and you wont hear sound or anything letting you know that you rang the doorbell successfully).

This B&B was exactly what I was looking for. The perfect combination between comfort and historical charm. The property is well maintained, clean and convenient to the main historical sites.
