"We felt very welcome from the start at this lovingly decorated hotel. A real highlight is the terrace with its breathtaking view, where you can enjoy both breakfast and dinner – the latter served in a warm, family-style setting with Michelin-star-level quality at fair prices. We highly recommend everyone staying here also dine at the restaurant in the evening. Overall, a clear recommendation for anyone looking for an authentic, family-run getaway amid the beautiful nature of Puglia."

"Love, love, love this place. Hosts were super accommodating and responsive. San bonaventura was just lovely, perfect for a family of 4, with quirky decor. It was clean, well laid out, bathroom and kitchen areas had everything we needed. We all fell in love with the view, the peace, the shady gardens. Fabulous plants (delicious lemons, perfect for hot drinks), ornaments tiles. Lots of steps (we were warned!) but well built and lit. A real treasure that we delighted in discovering."

"A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours."

"Wonderful quiet location with views of the mountains! Owner and staff were gracious and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food. Good place to base yourself out of to explore the area, including the ruins at Paestum. "

"This property is not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean. Te owner Luisa met us with the key and was very gracious. When she found out that I was in the area doing family research she immediately called her son to take us to the office and apply for the documents while the office was open. Luisa also gave us many options to restaurants, and places to visit in the area. The farm to table breakfast was wonderful. More then most hotels we stayed in.
