Cottages in Province of L'Aquila

I stayed for a week in June. The room was spacious and clean, with WiFi and an AC unit. Breakfast was what Americans might call "continental", with local sweets to go with an espresso, fruit and yogurt. The person who checked me in was very helpful and friendly, was happy to provide some local information, and checked in on me several times during the stay to see if I needed anything. The only downside was that the one-way street outside my window was a bit noisier than I would have...

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owners were kind and personable. The breakfast was very nice, the apartment was large and comfortable - we didn't realize that they offer apartments and air bnb rooms bec we would have opted for the latter rather than the apartment but it was very nice and had a futon if we needed to accommodate additional people. Kitchen with full size fridge, balcony, and nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful, old building! Tons of space with tons of charm! We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked if we had needed to. Short walk to Piazza Garibaldi and all of the wonderful confetti shops! Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing!

Where do I start. Angela and her family (brother and mother) treated us as part of their family from check in to check out. Their attention to details throughout the hotel warrants the 4 star rating. Hospitality is a 5 star rating. Where do you find a nonna serving breakfast and talking about family recipes? The location is perfect. The hotel is clean and our room was comfortable and spacious. We would highly recommend making the trip to a city that has not yet been over run by tourists. We felt...

This was a wonderful place that I would go back to every time I come to Sulmona. Roberto and Giuseppe were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the location couldn’t be better. If I could give this place six stars I would!

This is a really beautiful property, and specific to those seeking remoteness. The village is effectively uninhabited, and at the same time offers a dramatic view of the surrounding mountains. A bottle of wine is offered for sale, but if you’re planning to eat in the evening, plan on driving 10-15 minutes to the closest restaurants. Of note, the breakfast was very complete and delicious!

Grounds are beautiful and well taken care of

We loved our stay. The room was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were awesome. We can’t wait to go back.

Mario and Massimo welcomed us into their hotel as if we were family. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Mario was very helpful with recommending someone to help me find information on my family that originated from Castel Di Sangro. That was the reason we traveled to the town and made the difference in our trip to Italy. The hotel, town and the people we met, makes me feel proud to say that my family is from this town. We will be traveling back to Castel Di Sangro many times to continue our...

Everything was wonderful. I loved the location and the property. Francesco was great!

Great oasis near L'Aquila center. Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff.

The shower door has been broken for a couple of my stays in the same room (101). Inconvenient to open and close door

Beautiful place with character. The staff is wonderful, extraordinary landscape, relaxing atmosphere…. Everything was excellent, from preparing our car at 4 AM in order to get early to nearby Monte Sibillini national park to great dinners, especially at the hotel restaurant. There were great jazz musicians and food in the range of Michelin starred restaurant. Altogether, very interesting area that is worth visiting and great hotel and restaurant. All recommendations! Amazing breakfast! and great location

Large apartment rooms. In the countryside but not far from Solomona - an easy drive. Friendly English speaking owner. A very good stay. It was our anniversary. The apartment was decorated for us. Breakfast is not included in the price. If you purchase a breakfast it is all packaged items.
