The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Florence, just a short walk from the Duomo, Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, and some of the city’s most elegant shops and restaurants. It made exploring the city effortless. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail felt intentional. What truly set it apart, though, was the service. Gemma was exceptional - warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Hotel Calimala will definitely be our go-to in Florence."

"Hotels is charming and in excellent location. It is old buildings so don’t except modern amenities but is charming and great place to stay. "

"Upside is that breakfast was included. Dinner menu was limited in choice. There were no lighter options. For example; salad, charcuterie board. The gardens and view are spectacular. The walls are surprisingly thin. I could clearly hear people’s conversations as well other activities. Air conditioning was working well which was appreciated during the warm days. Shuttle service has 2 drops off locations. Michael Angelo (great sunset) and the second location brings you within 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bring good walking shoes ! "
