The room was spotless, with all sorts of amenities (wine glasses, bottle opener, purified water, espresso, etc.), and the host was extremely helpful and informative. "The address is currently incorrect, but the correct address is a few doors away. There is a somewhat narrow time window when staff are present to receive you, between 2:30 pm and 7 pm, unless you make specific arrangements with them. The room and bathroom were fine and there is a common area kitchen. If on foot, the location of the hotel within the walled historic city is fine, not far from the central square but up a hill. Restaurants are also nearby. The bus stop to the nearest train...

"We had a fantastic stay here! The owners are very nice, and were happy to provide suggestions for wine bars, shops and restaurants. They even made our dinner reservations for us. Free parking is available a short walk away, and you can walk to pretty much anywhere in town from this centrally located inn. Our room was large (two bedrooms!), clean and comfortable. "It's a bit of a hike up to Sienna but the walk is worth it, you avoid a lot of the tourist crowds coming from this direction. There are some steep hills to the top of the town, so be warned but I would stay here again. Relatively simple check in and out, no complaints. "

"Great location, but it is very confusing because the photo used for advertising is a museum it is not the place you are booking. Also it is not the kind of hotel we are use to book, it is difficult, because if you don’t get to the property on time for any reason, they leave and you have to wait outside with your suitcase and hot weather. Next time I will book a hotel with front desk. But I need to say that it was cleaned and nice room, bathroom and great location!"

"We had a wonderful stay in San Gimignano. Our host Andrea was very helpful and offered advice and information on what to see and do in the town. The apartment was spacious and clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The view from the window was spectacular. It was a bonus to have breakfast included. The location was perfect for exploring the town. We hope to return and highly recommend the apartment to family and friends."

"When we arrived at the property we had so many questions about the area! The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions with great patience. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we had booked for more nights. We toured Siena during the day, but came back to the property for a beautiful sunset and dinner.
