"Ok so if you want a modern unfriendly hotel do not choose here but if you want a beautiful traditional chateau with themed rooms, admittedly some oddities as all old chateaus have but beautiful, and lovely staff with an amazing breakfast this is amazing as is Provins generally. Be advised you do need passable French to make things easier but if you are off to France guys it’s the least you can do!!"

"Lovely hotel in the middle of Provins. Good sized room, excellent breakfast (extra). Lovely evening meal on Sunday night when all other restaurants closed. Very nice outdoor hotel seating area for coffee or drinks as well. Staff very friendly although, despite sign saying all Reception staff spoke English, one member made it difficult for us and having offered the final bill, without showing the breakdown, had to refund cash for charging an additional breakfast which we didn't take on one of the mornings. "

"It was a super cozy room within a beautiful house. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and were very happy to share many local tips and recommendations for our stay (and gave us great insights into French culture and other traveling destinations). The contintenal breakfast was also very nice and included a yummy selection of french boulangerie and handmade mermelades. I fully recommend the property!"

"The apartment is situated just a ten minute walk from the centre of town and Provins has great history to explore. From its amazing fortified walls, to Caesar’s tower and many churches and buildings. Fontainebleau and many other beautiful places are located within an hour’s drive. We could easily have stayed longer and will certainly be going there again."

"On arrival we had to try several numbers to get a response We had no hot water in any of the 3 rooms. We called and he returned saying it was sorted and we would have hot water after 3hrs but we still didn’t have any in the morning. We were on 3 motorcycles and had been travelling all day looking forward to a shower. Then in the morning while we had breakfast they went in our rooms moved some of our stuff and cleaned the rooms ready for the next guests before we even checked out. "

"We have stayed in many many short term rentals throughout the years. This one was one of our favorites. Everything was pristine. It was spacious, comfortable, bright, airy and perfectly located in the downtown shopping/cafe/restaurant area. Highly recommended!!"
