"This charming cottage was perfect for myself and 2 friends. The weather eas rainy but cleared for beautiful sunsets. We even saw Northern lights. If the temperatures were warmer we would of kayaked. We had fun playing games, doing puzzles and takjng a day trip to Alpena. I would rent this cottage again when the weather is warmer to kayak and play in the lake."

"The house was clean the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would possibly need. Lots of out door toys for the kids, plenty of chairs, fishing and boating supplies as well."

"This is a lovely home, beautifully furnished - right on the lake. Very responsive owner when we had a problem. My only caveat is the "third bedroom" which is very small and actually a pass-through from the garage/master bedroom area to the front of the house where the kitchen and 2nd bedroom are. Not much privacy! Otherwise, one of the very best VRBOs I have ever stayed in."
