"I was traveling with my 2 kids so we wanted 3 beds. In typical European fashion it was 3 beds next to each other but it was comfy able and it worked well for 2 nights. I was worried because this was the old air base billeting building but it was nice, I felt safe, and it was clean. The hotel doesn’t have AC, which I knew when I booked, so be mindful of you are traveling in the summer but when we went, early June, having the windows cracked was all we needed."

"The young man that helped us at the counter was so helpful and professional. The hotel was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was perfect. Zero complaints, 5 stars all the way, and hands down the best value for what we received. Exceeded expectations is an understatement. "

"The hotel is an old mill and has a lot of character to it. Our kids enjoyed the small museum they have and they learned how the mill used to work. The area around the hotel is nice to walk and explore, see the animals. For WW enthusiasts they have a memorial and a bit of history on display. People say their food is more expensive, I would contradict that. The prices are not your donner kebab prices but are similar with restaurants in the area. I would suggest the hotel to post their restaurant prices online. We also had breakfast there and it was good."

"Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one evening meal we took. All in all, a really nice stay at Sporthotel Grafenwald!"

"The facility is clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location is very good for visiting Clairvaux. The staff seemed friendly and tried to provide a good service. The restaurant food was good and the wait staff, although trying and working hard seemed a little confused - I think there were some internal misunderstandings about the hotel procedures among the staff. "
