"Pros: Die Sommerfrische is one of the best holiday homes we’ve ever stayed in — and we’ve stayed in quite a few! It’s spotlessly clean, bright and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful Austrian countryside and right at the foot of the Otter. We hiked it in about four hours round trip, and the hammock was the perfect place to relax afterwards and enjoy the mountain views. "We enjoyed our stay - the outside area is great for sunbathing and family meals. There are some very easy day trips to lakes, castles and cities like Bratislava. Maria was a fabulous host and made us very welcome."

Pytloun Schlosshotel Weikersdorf

Pytloun Schlosshotel Weikersdorf

8/10 Good
"Interesting property in that it’s a former castle and has old world charm. Nice breakfast buffet everyday. Indoor pool and sauna were quite nice as well. On the flip side, the elevator didn’t work. The room key kept malfunctioning which required getting it reactivated everyday. The property is a bit worn and aging in a few ways. One annoying thing is the lack of power outlets near the bed (just one). Overall a good stay but could’ve been better."
