"Such an amazing place! Xinia and Carlos being there often was so great. They really do a lot to keep everything running smoothly and always helpful when I needed something. Sara is an amazing host and the whole process to check in was very easy. One thing for people just coming to this area, make sure you have supplies as the stores aren’t really walkable, or have some taxis lined up prior. Samara taxi service is the name to look up. It’s a beautiful place!"

"I had such a lovely stay at this cute little studio in Puerto Carrillo. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight was the shared pool—perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or just lounging with a book. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and it was just a short drive to Playa Carrillo, which is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a quiet, charming spot to unwind, this is it!"

"When we arrived at Finca Lucky we didn't receive the confirmation email for the key. It was very stressful, as this made me distrustful. We had to ask the neighbors for the phone number of the owner's contact. The house was a mess. The sheets were thrown on the bed. The curtains were not put up. We had to clean everything ourselves. "What can I say? This was the R&R that was much needed - secluded, sophisticated and sleek! Domo Nosaro is located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, about 90 mins south of Tamarindo. The roads are lush with foliage - and the small stretch leading up to Domo is rough terrain, it is only for about 3 mins - and once you have reached the lodge, you will be well rewarded with its sheet beauty. Check in was a breeze (and in fact we were slightly early - and we were immediately welcomed and provided a room). A few small handy notes: (i) there is no elevator, so luggage has to be carried up - no worries though, as the helpful staff will lend you a hand; (ii) there is no onsite cafe - no worries because the Sunrise cafe and other choice eateries such as Pulpo, are literally a stone's throw away - and their food is on point; (iii) there is no TV because this is an eco-lodge designed for seclusion - no worries though as the wifi is strong and you will be instragramming every 5 seconds anyway! What you will see the spectacular lounge areas overlooking the salt water pool - the temperature is just right (neither warm nor cold - just superbly comfortable) - and pool and beach towels are provided. The rooms are luxurious in a Mediterranean style that truly makes you feel like you got away into the lap of luxury - and the windows overlook plants that are teeming with butterflies and birds! The sound of howler monkeys wakes you up in the morning - and time just flies...wish I had longer!"

"The hotel is well deserved of their michelin star! The staff were AMAZING! We met Miri & Jaime (owners) as well, they were so personable and cool to chat with. They gave so much attention to detail including the rooms. It was so comfortable and so well thought out. Even the hairdryer was giving high end. Breakfast was to die for. Presentation even. This place is better than any other high end hotel including the Four Seasons or Waldorf. We are definitely coming back here :)"

"We had a wonderful stay at this home during our first trip to Costa Rica. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the owner was very communicative and helpful while preparing for our visit.Alexandria and Sonia were exceptional—always kind, welcoming, and discreet while keeping the home spotless. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge convenience, especially with all of the activities our family enjoyed during the week.The living room, foyer, and kitchen are not air-conditioned, but each bedroom has A/C, which made for very comfortable sleeping.For future guests, it’s worth noting that if you’re hoping for an easy, safe walk to a swimmable beach where you can spend the day, this may not be the best fit. The beach access was farther than we expected, and we didn’t feel comfortable making the walk with our family, so we relied on drivers instead. Fortunately, we spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful pool, which worked out perfectly for us.Our airport driver initially had difficulty finding the home using the original location provided, but the owner responded immediately via WhatsApp with an updated GPS pin. Once we received it, navigation was easy for the rest of our stay.Overall, this home was exactly what we were looking for. If your priority is stunning views, outstanding hospitality, and a peaceful place to relax, you’ll have a wonderful stay."

"The host was easy to communicate with. Property was beautiful, had everything we needed. Check in process was super easy. We loved the shops and restaurants close by. We had an issue with money missing from several of our guests, an unresolved issue that put a damper on our trip but besides this issue everything was perfect. Would definitely stay here again."
