"Clean, comfortable, a bit far (this is relative of course, but for locals, it is “a bit far”) but perfect for a quiet stay. You can walk to the malecón for late dinner and drinks. Enjoy breakfast on the property or at the nearby restaurants. Great roof terrace! Perfect to enjoy the moon, a bottle of wine and good conversation. Room #11 is perfect for couples. We didn’t had a car, but there’s plenty of parking."

"Old crow was a wonderful, staff is pleasant and Jamal(?) was very helpful in recommending a bioluminescence tour. We had breakfast at their sister property Blue Horizon which was recommended by the gentlemen doing some maintenance at the property. Would definitely stay here again "

"This modest guest house is clean, has a great bed, and is located an easy walk into the center of Esperanza. We had trouble getting the hot water to stay on in the shower, and the “front desk” didn’t really exist; we were lucky that a kind staff member happened to be working on flower beds when we arrived who could let us in because calls to the hotel weren’t answered and But the room was charming; it had a refrigerator and there was coffee and fixings for us to use, and the ac worked very well. We would definitely stay again! "

"Let start by pictures really don't do the view you have justice. This property is at the top of a good size hill and over the wall of the porch is your stunning view of the nature preserve (vast area) with an ocean view in the distance. Since being on the edge of this area its quiet but you will hear plenty of birds (the peacocks are very frequent), frogs and occasionally see horses on the road. Few houses line the driveway up the hill but its still very private. You will definitely need a 4wd vehicle to make it up the driveway especially if it rains but once at the top, its all flat walking area. They definitely have though of everything too to make your stay very comfortable too. Fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, coolers and accessories, washer/dryer, extra blankets, sunscreen assortment, toiletries, hair dryer etc. Its a very long list. We stayed 10 magicial days and loved every minute. If you are looking for a very adventurous and unforgettable trip, you found it. Book the house, book the 4WD vehicle and be prepared for true paradise adventure exploring pristine, remote beaches, rainforest areas, bioluminescent bay tours (brightest in the world for a reason), beach horseback rides and fantastic food. We can't wait to go back."
