"Friendly and helpful check in, spacious, quiet and charming room. Easy access to the property off the highway, but the room felt secluded. We saw deer, acouti, and howler monkeys. Good breakfast buffet and an easy 45 minute drive to our car rental near the airport. "

"Super comfortable accommodations. Owner communicated everything we needed promptly. The only reason we had any issue was due to the VRBO app not being easy to navigate when looking for info. I recommend chatting with the owner before hand in order to get directions ahead of time. The app won't let you copy and past links sadly. We really enjoyed the convenience of the location. Easy to get to the excursions we had planned as well as restaurants and grocery stores. It felt secluded even though we were close to a main road. Pool, kitchen, outdoor grill all clean and well maintained. We'd look to book here again."

"It’s a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The pool is great, and there are hammocks beneath the coconut trees, perfect for unwinding. The air conditioning works well, though there’s no refrigerator in the room. Still looking forward to trying the continental breakfast, but expectations are high."

"Everything was great. But, although the pool was lovely, it could have been cleaned better: their was a floating bag of chips and a water bottle, and way too many leaves, floating and at the bottom. "

"This is an amazing house with a fantastic pool and is well equipped. We loved being here once settled in. The map was inaccurate at the time of booking so we adjusted our expectations and enjoyed our stay. The host was helpful and offered support for us to be closer to the airport for our last day. Much appreciated. The house has great amenities and the kitchen has many bonuses like laundry, icemaker and lots of cutlery. The pool was a gift from heaven on hot days. Great rooms and set up. We saw a few lizards and geckos and many birds while relaxing in the covered patio. This is a country location which requires some creative driving to get to the gated entry. We very much enjoyed the local towns and getting a feel for authentic Costa Rica without tourists and English speakers. We found it easy to drive to parks and hikes. The place was clean, quiet and safe, as well as away from busy city noises. Would recommend to anyone seeking a retreat in the country. "

"We consider ourselves fortunate to have the privilege of staying at this spectacular architecture designed home. The property has a master bedroom with attached ensuite as well as 2 additional bedrooms and an additional washroom. We appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked with “extras” such as paper towels, napkins, salt, pepper, other spices, sugar and coffee. We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house at check-in. The grounds are large and very private. Attached to the kitchen is a huge outdoor living area with seating and eating areas. I want to mention the high quality linens - both bedding and towels. The house and outdoor living areas were spotless. Something we appreciate was the quality of the roads leading to the house (if you have driven off the main roads in Costa Rica, you know what I am talking about). Any questions we had were answered promptly. The property is managed by the owner and pride of ownership shows through out the whole property! We would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity ever arose. "
