The property was great. Very quiet and the check in staff was amazing. We had a long stressful travel day and the check in staff even offered to give us a ride to a restaurant up the road to purchase food. The security assisted us in getting taxi's to take us to our cruise port which I appreciated. We did have to pay cash for our hydro usage which I found extremely unusual and it wasn't listed in the advertisement with Expedia. It felt like the staff I spoke to just threw out a number to see if I would pay it. (500 DP) As our taxi was arriving, we didn't have a choice and paid the fee to ensure we were on time to our cruise ship.

I had an unfortunate experience in Green one. The studio had a strong odor that made me sick. They said it was because of the extermination that took place outside of the property for mosquitoes. Then, they moved me to another studio, which wasn’t cleaned (found a women’s hair on the pillow) and had an odor effect which the manager explained to me the next day that it is due to the humidity of the rain. The odor smell got better next day, especially when they cleaned the whole studio per my request. Also, the door handle of the balcony was loose and had maintenance to get it fixed. They showed me a 1 bedroom apartment per my request (which had no odor), but wanted more money for just a short period of time, which I refused. Overall, my experience was not great and concierge was horrible. They were unreasonable, unreliable, careless and did not take the matter too seriously. By the way, the cab they sent me for pickup (at the pickup location) was horrible. The cab driver was extremely rude and wanted me to pay for his service knowing he arrived late and I had taken an uber.

This was a great choice for me and my family. This property is a private, exclusive golf club which makes it very safe. There are multiple check points to pass through and security guards patrolling the area at night. You will need transportation to get to the nearest town to do some exploring, restaurants and excursions but that was ok with me. I did not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Sosua or Cabarete. You can always get a cab if you don’t have a car. We arrived three hours before check in and Esther, who greeted us. got us all beach towels and drove us to the beach which was about a 3-4 minute golf cart drive. We could have walked as well. Esther was very helpful and friendly. We asked for recommendations to and ATV and catamaran excursion company and we were given the contact information of a great source. We had a great time. The room is surprisingly very well equipped with everything you need. A full sized fridge, a stove, cooking utensils, cleaning supplies and the best of all, a washer and dryer which came in handy after our ATV excursion. Room was very clean. The property has several good restaurants too.
