"We had an outstanding stay at the Hibiscus Garden Hotel. It has a beautiful garden and pool area. Arlene welcomed us us immediately, got help with our (many) bags from scuba diving and booked us transport to the airport. The hotel kept our bags while we were on tour. A very pleasant surprise was the hotel restaurant, which has a big menu. Everything we ate was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel."

"By far, OYO Rockssar was the best 2-star hotel we experienced in this 3 week trip in the Philippines from Iloilo to Cebu (OYO in Moalboal cancelled on us last minute so not impressed =(), to Panglao, Coron then back to Manila. It was clean, simple setup, spacious, airconditioning worked and right at the heart of the city, close to the airport for transfers, staff were very helpful with needs re comforts esp when we arrived on a brownout on 40 degree heat. "All good, just troubles with check in - they let me wait until 2 pm saying that it is the time that the check in starts even though everywhere is written that it starts at 1 pm, very confusing and annoying to let you wait even though the room was already supposed to be ready!! No compensation for all the useless waiting kn the heat "

"5 stars, keeping in mind how inexpensive it is. Clean, AC and hot water work, bug free. The bed was firm like everywhere else I’ve stayed in SE Asia but I found it comfortable. This is run by a very nice family and they were helpful booking me a trip to the underground river and my next leg transportation to El Nido. They also have a couple of good scooters to rent. I paid 500 pesos a day for the scooter. "

"Water heater was not working in the first room. Later we got assigned a new room, which is quite dark in the day even though there's a window because the window is facing inside the building. The drainage of the bathroom needs to be cleaned better because there was an unpleasant smell whenever you take a shower. Good thing is the hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle and the staff is friendly. To those with walking inconvenience, there is no elevator in the hotel. "

"The management didn't know about confirm the reservation from hotels.com. But we booked 3 days before and get confirm about reservation. Then next problem our room was not free for 1 night so we must sleep in a small bad cottage. Discount was only free breakfast. Next problem was no tv channels (i choose this hotel because have tv). For wifi you musk ask the stuff to make router on. Then after 30 minutes wifi goes off again. So i asked 7 times per day about wifi... The management (boss) is...

"Mindre bra vistelse. Avslutade boendet efter en natt. Bytte rum två gånger men det mesta i rummen var trasigt. Första rummet trasig ac. Bytte rum igen men upptäckte på kvällen att toan funkade ej och duschmunstycket trillade i bitar hela tiden."

Det ligger lite mitt ute i ingenstans men ändå okej utgångsläge för utflykter en bit utanför (norr om) Puerto Princesa, exempelvis underjordiska floden.
