4/5 - Good
Very difficult to get cash. the one ATM would not recognize our card. The people are helpful and we found a couple of places to use credit cards to eat. Nutria at Natural Selection was excellent& able to book boats and tours on Visa here.

Everything is excellent except it is a bit far - 10/15 walk to town…was good for me.

Relaxed beach town. Lots of food and tour options
Puerto Villamil is a very small, quaint little town with dirt roads, a handful of restaurants and shops, and wonderfully friendly locals. If you want a relaxing and peaceful vacation, this is the perfect little town. Would come back in a heartbeat.
Several island activities available to young and mature individuals (volcano hike, snorkeling, biking, etc.)
Small, unbelievably friendly, and super relaxed.
It's a very small, easily walkable town. The beautiful beach is lined with scenic coconut trees. Next to the harbor is Concha de Perla, a shallow area good for snorkeling. A 1.5 km trail passes by flamingos and leads to a tortoise breeding center.
