"We were very disappointed. We we riding our bikes on a tour of the region, and arrived before 5pm. The manager did not look happy to see us, and made us feel uncomfortable that we came early. He did give us a room though. There are no easy dining options within walking distance, except for a crepe place with a very limited menu. Finally, we were told that breakfast was not before 8am. "Gîte au calme très bien situé à Valdeblore La Bolline, avec un grand jardin aménagé et des animaux. Belle vue dégagée sur la vallée et les montagnes environnantes. Accueil moyen dans un contexte de réveillon sans doute stressant pour l'hôtesse. Studio indépendant agréable avec poele à bois mais..pas de rangement dans la chambre ni de patère dans la salle de bains..rapport global qualité/prix à améliorer....pour ce gîte qui a un très bon potentiel ! "Contacting site early (as requested) was French only. Pathways and decks needed sweeping and the grounds were a little neglected, probably due to Covid although the Zen room was nice and clean. Pool was nice"

"This is a great hotel in a beautiful location. The apartment was big and well equipped. The receptionist and the manager were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a problem with train reservations. They helped and did not give up until it was sorted."
