"Reviewing for a group of 3. We stayed in the family room for 1 night while visiting the nearby glow worm caves. We had a great stay. Only about 10 minutes from the caves. The property is situated on a hill, and the patio right outside our room had spectacular views of the surrounding region/mountains. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Bathroom was spacious as well. Small kitchenette had a few items as well including electric kettle, tea, coffee. Complementary breakfast was continental and definitely a plus; had everything we needed for a long day. Was nice to meet the owner Trevor as well as his dogs who can be seen around the property. Would stay here again. "

"Everything we were hoping for. Friendly welcome, clean and had everything we needed. A 2 minute drive to Waitomo Village for very tasty dinner at the pub. Able to live out our Hobbit fantasy with amazing room and imaginative art work. Would definitely do it again. Completely unique experience."

It’s an ideal spot to bring a group of friends for a long getaway to just relax and recharge. ​Just a heads-up: the location is quite remote and the mountain roads can be a bit challenging to navigate. But if you don’t mind the drive, it is absolutely worth the stay. We had a wonderful time and loved the peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet sanctuary!"
