"Hotel is in a good location. Serving staff at breakfast were all lovely. Daniel at the bar looked after our needs too. Comfy bed and room was very clean. I would stay here again. "

"Arrived late, but the hotel had a lot of inventory so room selection should have been no problem. The front desk staff gave us our room key (room was assigned earlier in day, as far as we could tell). Room was tiny! It was also on the main road side of the hotel, so we couldn't sleep with road noise, traffic, drunk people on streets, etc. If it was peak season, I'd understand ending up in a room like this. But the hotel had ALOT of empty rooms, so maybe management should think about how they assign rooms at low inventory times of year. While there is a lift to each floor -- there are also stairs on each floor that have to be used to access about half of the rooms. For those with disabilities, make sure they put you in one of the rooms on the level with the elevator. There was a nice lounge/bar attached to hotel. Amenities were super nice. Breakfast looked like standard hotel fare (cereal and eggs) - we went around the corner to a nice cafe for breakfast. "

"Nice property in a good location for walking into the centre of town. Very comfortable and suited our requirements well. Ensuite Shower room off the main bedroom was rather small and difficult to use, but the main shower room was great. Check-in process was fine, but did not appreciate the comment that we would only get one set of keys, and to use the keybox if the four of us were coming and going at different times. However two other sets of keys were provided in the property, so all fine in the end. If we are back at the bridge congress next year, we will be staying again. "

"The location is okay, however the hotel is old and in very bad condition. The room they gave me at first had a huge window in the bathroom and no shades, also the curtain shower did not close properly and there was a ball of hair in the corner of the bathroom floor: nasty, horrible, disgusting, unacceptable. I complained and they gave me another room which was better but still bad. Breakfast was poor. I do not recommend this hotel. "

"Our stay at the hotel was very nice, room was comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant. we did make a comment re our evening meal but hear no more about it (lasagne was dry) i have attempted to make contact with the hotel by phone since our stay on the 14th February but no one seems to pick up phone calls. my query is regarding the addition of VAT added to our bill food and drinks. i did not see any evidence of VAT included or to be added to our bill. my hotel receipt shows at the foot of the bill that "this is not a VAT invoice but your VAT number is included in your footer. is this an error on your part or have i missed this.
