"The property was easy to find with some decent parking. Once there I called the owner, Gaina and she provided the code for the key box. Once upstairs in the loft studio, I was amazed with the space and amenities on hand. On Gaina's advice, I went on an hour long walk near a local river and woodlands. There were plenty of dining options within a decent radius of distance. I had a great night's sleep and was welcomed with a fantastic variety for a continental breakfast to get the day started right. I would definitely look to stay here in the future. I would only suggest a couple of things to help improve the stay. With the impending Summer, I would suggest some blinds or covers for the loft windows especially for the early bright mornings. Also Gaina does not accept card payments so if you decide to pay at the property then cash is required. This should be highlighted prior to booking to avoid confusion. Just a couple of small things which in no way blighted a fantastic stay."

"Lovely big, clean room with a sofa, table, chairs, huge bed and a gorgeous view. Loads of parking and a nice garden to enjoy. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and very helpful. The evening meal, Chicken Supreme, was fantastic and so was the breakfast (porridge with blueberry compote). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and can't wait to stay again."

"Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, extra pillows on request, and a well-kept home feel. She is also equipped with celiac kitchen safety, if you should need! We stopped over for one night and wished we had stayed longer! Lovely place to rest, Jane and Nigel were most accommodating and great for a chat! All best x"

"The restaurant offered a good choice of evening meals,managing to fit me in on a busy saturday evening. The breakfast was very good, usual full English breakfast or any bits of it as preferred, with vegetarian options and usual cereals and fresh fruit salad. The building is quite old, with some odd shaped rooms, the furnishing very traditional but comfortable. If you like your accommodation modern and minimalist, this may not be for you, but I rather liked it."
