"if you're looking for a quite place to stay, this is the place. It's pretty remote here. The nearest town is 10 minutes away. The lanai has a view of the ocean. The place itself was clean. Kitchen had the basics for cooking. Also had plastic wrap and plastic bags. There was even some pancake mix. ..."

This hotel is very remote with a great beach, hot tub and pool. Do your food shopping before leaving Hilo or Ocean View. We enjoyed it very much, but if you are looking for a lot of shopping or night life, this hotel is not a good match for you.

This property is within walking distance to Punaluu Black Beach. I visited this beach between 6am-7am in the morning and saw sea turtles swimming in the ocean. This is a perfect secluded spot if one wants privacy.
