Wonderful Beach Condo

We loved our week stay at AquaMarina condo. Beautiful views, area felt very safe. Owner very good talking care of our needs. We recommend this unit for anyone looking for a great getaway.

Family Vacation

Our group had a great time at Cap Cana with the beautiful beach access and pool, along with other amenities. We recommend renting a golf cart if you go because the closest town is about a seven minute drive outside the resort. The only issue we found with the space was that there was no dish washer (new one was apparently being installed soon) and that the oven did not fully heat. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the space.

Awesome Family Vacation

We had a fantastic time staying in Nicole’s condo! The views from the balcony were fabulous! The condo was beautiful and comfortable. The community was wonderful and well maintained. The beach and pool were never crowded and felt very private. We enjoyed the area restaurants especially Barbuda and Bohemian Tapas. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful condo

WOW!

The condo was great. It had plenty of space. It was ocean front and close to the marina. We walked out the front door and were on our charter boat to fish after walking 100 yards. On my next trip to Punta Cana, I would stay there again.

Stunning view, Beautiful Private Beach & Pools!

We had an amazing stay at the Cap Cana Beachfront Penthouse in the Dominican Republic! The house was spotless, and the beach and pool were absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible personal chef Claudia. She prepared delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, taking care of our needs with such warmth and attentiveness that she became like family. Despite a language barrier, we communicated through Google Translate and shared so many heartfelt moments. We absolutely adored her, and she made our trip that much more special. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we highly recommend this beautiful penthouse and the amazing hospitality!

A Beautiful Spot!

We enjoyed a week in Cap Cana. The condo was in a great location with a fabulous view. It was well equipped with plenty of room for the 4 of us. We spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the ocean, at the pool and at the beach. If you are looking for a place to just relax, this is a great spot. Nicole was absolutely fantastic to deal with. She was very responsive, answering questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. She also recommended various restaurants, grocery stores and things to do, as well as organized a shuttle to pick us up at the airport. I would definitely stay here again.

Aquamarina great view but neglected unit.

Although the view is a nice ocean view, the property needs care. Lights were burnt out, handles were falling off doors, and overall not well kept.

My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much we didn't want to leave the apartment to do excursions. It was tranquil and homey. The owner was so responsive and helpful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The apartment looked even better than the photos. We hired the cook Ms. Claudia and she was attentive and caring. She fed myself and my family very well. Her traditional Dominican dishes were the best. She took care everyone! Every dime was worth it! Ms. Claudia was genuinely loving we didn't want her to leave when she finished cooking and cleaning. She was such a positive person to be around.

Highly recommend! Pictures don’t even do this condo justice.

Nicole’s condo is huge, spacious and comes equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms are all very large and the balcony is huge. The beds were all super comfortable and we also enjoyed the upstairs loft. The condo complex is very clean and well maintained. Everyone we encountered was super helpful. The pool area was right on the beach and so picturesque. Nicole is the epitome of a super host. She checked in on us upon arrival and was quickly responsive to any questions. We also opted to have Ingris cook and clean and her meals were fresh and amazingly delicious. We felt completely safe anywhere we ventured in Cap Cana. We really enjoyed the restaurants in the Fishing Lodge area across the bay. Bohemian Tapas and Wine Bar was our favorite. Every dish was incredible and the owner greeted us on each visit and provided entree recommendations. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Punta Cana👍

Our First VRBO Experience in DR

Having previously explored Casa De Campo, Puerto Plata and Bayahibe, we found the tranquility and serenity we sought in the less bustling corners of the Dominican Republic, specifically at Cap Cana Marina. Every facet of our stay was enriched, from the convenience of a private indoor parking spot to the invaluable presence of Claudia—an incredibly versatile individual who not only cooked and cleaned but also provided delightful conversations. Our culinary desires were met with sheer brilliance as Claudia crafted a dinner featuring chicken, oxtails, and pepper steak. All her meals were delicious. Nicole's exceptional service, extending beyond mere accommodation as she kept us seamlessly connected to real estate opportunities and curated suggestions for dining and extracurricular activities. Cap Cana Marina, with its tranquil ambiance and attentive staff, has undoubtedly etched itself into our hearts as a serious contender for our retirement dreams.

Perfect Retreat

Our recent stay at this property was perfect! From the moment we stepped into the condo, we were happy with its cleanliness and presentation. This place exceeded our expectations. Dealing with the Nicole was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating throughout the entire booking process and during the stay. Any questions or requests were met with swift and attentive responses. The location is absolution perfect. Like previous reviews the areas is quite but that’s what makes it so perfect. The condo is nestled in an idyllic setting, just a short stroll away the beach. The convenience of being so close allowed us to indulge in multiple swims throughout the day. It was like having our own private oasis! Additionally, the condo's proximity to nearby restaurants was a delightful surprise. Within a few minutes' walk, we had access to the API house offering delicious local cuisine and international delicacies overlooking the water. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free vacation in this beautiful island paradise. Would definitely book again!

Amazing stay- Birthday celebration

Our visit to Cap Cana was amazing. The rental property was just as advertised and Nicole was an awesome host. Nicole provided detailed instructions that made our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend having Claudia the chef prepare meals while staying at Cap Cana. She is so sweet and accommodating and prepared 2 authentic meals for our group. The food was delicious! Claudia was our honorary auntie by the end of the trip. The concierges Eligio and Darwin were so helpful and charming. They helped us request taxi services and were able to help us book an ATV excursion. They even allowed me to practice my Spanish with them as did Claudia the chef. The rental property is beautiful. I woke up every day to amazing beach views and watched the sunset and sunrise from my bedroom and the relaxing balcony. The property is accessible to the beach and is relaxing for a quiet get away. We ate at the restaurant on site and Elvis the bartender was wonderful. I will say if you are unable to create your own nightlife, the property is about 20-30 minutes away from clubs and bars, but it is nice to travel through Punta Cana and see the community on your way to the action. We had such a great time and I would surely return to this rental property in the future. Thank you Nicole for everything!

Private paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at Nicole’s oceanfront condo. The condo was super spacious and the community was so quiet and peaceful. The views are breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting on the patio Morning and night, and stayed on the beach all day. There was a restaurant and bar and walking distance of the condo as well as a huge, beautiful private pool. We had the pleasure of meeting some of our neighbors at the pool and they were so kind and delightful, even befriended my little 3 1/2 year-old. This was our first day in Cana and I really appreciated the safety and security of staying in the gated community. I felt completely safe, taking my son for a walk in the mornings by myself around the marina and really anywhere. We ended up renting a car to take my parents to church and Higuey and also made a few trips to Bávaro (where we normally stay) To see friends. It was nice having a car to get out a few times and see some action, but nothing can beat The privacy and security of staying in Cap Cana! You can rent a golf cart to drive around, but it’s also only four dollars for a cab to get anywhere in cap Cana. Nicole’s place is in a perfect spot because you can walk to the beach restaurant and all of the other restaurants that we knew of would require a golf cart or a car to get to And are more inland. Nicole was super responsive to anything we needed, but there wasn’t much we needed because her place was in perfect condition and had everything we needed for our stay!

Just ok compared to other properties in building

This was my 5th visit to Cap Cana But this property was by far the most disappointing and least spacious for six adults, let alone ten people! The Master bedroom is pretty with a large closet and bathroom, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The other two bedrooms are dark with only one window at the far end which has a view of a stairwell. They are separated by a sliding wooden door which allows for zero privacy. Those mattresses were also uncomfortable, and the bathrooms were tiny. The views were spectacular as promised but you don’t need the “penthouse” for that at Aqua marina. The owner was responsive with a problem and the place well equipped, but her concierge fell short. We dismissed the unfriendly maid/cook she provided as she made us feel uncomfortable. Overall NOT an elegant property. The kitchen and furnishings are tired and need updating. Highly recommend the area but not this property.

Great Vacation at Aquamarina, Cap Cana Marina

Overall a wonderful vacation - Two parents over 65 and two adult children. Nicole was a great host and checked in to make sure everything was in order. We rented a car (recommended), stopped at the National Supermarket by airport and bought breakfast food and snacks. Easy 15 min drive to apt. It helps to check google maps before you arrive to get oriented. Penthouse was beautiful. It seemed as if we had the whole place to ourselves. (Pool and beach were empty). Pool guy brings out the umbrellas and cushions. (I gave him a small tip each day). Plenty of beach towels in the unit. We usually ate lunch at Maralias on the beach or got a pizza/sandwiches at Sopranos - all within walking distance. Valentinos at the beach had great gelato selection. Did a half day snorkeling tour with lunch included - a lot of fun. Another day rented a golf cart and went exploring. Claudia, the housekeeper/cook was amazing. We used her exceptional cooking skills twice to prepare dinner for us - chicken dish one day and salmon the other. Along with wonderful side dishes - all prepared in a healthy Dominican style. Claudia also brought beautiful flowers each day which was a nice touch. Highly recommend using her. (Google translate required if you don't speak spanish) . Had dinner reservations at Barbudo, LaYola, and Bohemian Wine and Tapas restaurants. All worth trying. Don't forget to have your morning coffee on the marina side of the penthouse. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Amazing Property in CapCana!

Beautiful, roomy condo in exclusive CapCana, with easy beach access, pool, restaurants, well equipped with everything needed for a wonderful vacation! Highly recommend this property, Nicole the administrator was always a message away to make sure we had no issues. Sadly weren’t able to use Claudia the cook, heard amazing things about her, will definitely be coming back in the future to this gorgeous place :)

Wonderful time in cap Cana

We had a wonderful time in cap Cana with 3 adults and 3 children. Claudia’s cooking was better than the 5 star restaurant that we went to one night. She was a wonderful addition to the property and we are grateful we got the opportunity to have her cook and clean for us. The location was amazing and we enjoyed the lack of crowds and quiet atmosphere. Will definitely be back. O

Amazing week

The penthouse is as advertised. Plenty of room for family of 6. Gorgeous view of Caribbean Sea from primary bedroom and balcony. Great spot for morning coffee, reading, playing cards, etc. Enjoyed movie night in loft space, large beautiful dining room table where we had Dominican lady Claudia cook us a traditional meal. Laundry room with sink for after beach day clean up. Beach area housed large cabanas and large walk in pool. Private beach club available next door for a nominal fee. Very safe and secure with require key cards for all entries and exits. Parking for rental car under apt. Aquamarina is an a la carte facility but magnificent location and very clean.
