Loved this hidden gem

Stayed 2 nights at this cute place that has everything to offer. Four other nights we stayed at Casa De Campo Resort but preferred this nice little place 100x's more. It's located directly in front of the beach and the restaurant offers delicious seafood plates at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back to this place if I come back to the DR.

Too noisy, the description does not mention that there is a Colmado shop (general store) nearby which plays loud music till late night. Also there was some repairs going on and the guys apart from making noise played loud music so that you are thoroughly attached by noise from all the side. Not at all recommended, the staff doesn't have a pleasant attitude.

The room was small, but comfortable, great bead. There were no towels when we got there, we got some a few hours later. The hotel offers complementary drinks at check in. We got the drinks only after I asked which felt funny to me. There is mostly foreign staff at the hotel, so the vibe felt bit differently than from a typical Dominican staff, which usually engages with you from time to time. If you prefer being left alone to relax this will be a plus for you. Now the bad...my girlfriend is sure that she left her blue-tooth earphones in the room when we went on a tour and then was not able to find them when we checked out. I remember her going to the room to leave the earphones there because we were going on a small boat. To be fair I have to say that we did not report this, so I don't know if they were found later by the staff.

The room was beyond tiny. The door handle was missing, bathroom window wouldn't shut. NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH AS ADVERTISED. so loud with music at night. Awful and dangerous neighborhood. I will never return

Buena relación precio-calidad

Un lugar muy lindo. La comida es rica y tienen buena variedad. El servicio es muy bueno, en especial de Daniel y Freddy. La zona no es la más linda. La zona de playa es pequeña y justo ahí es zona donde llegan los botes. No limpoan la habitación diariamente.

So much potential

The good: friendly wait staff, bartenders and housekeeping. Beautiful beach, cool hotel (dining area and bar). The bad: No hot water, the "queen bed" is two single beds pushed together. Linens and towels are old and dirty. Girl at front desk is is rude and not approachable.

Nice location close to the beach and enjoyed that it was also close to everything outside of the hotel. There is a corner store a few steps away where I bought cheaper supplies as needed. I found the room a little pricey for what I got, over $100 CAN/night and it did not include a breakfast when I was able to book at another hotel in town for a lot less money and get a huge suite with breakfast included. The food was good and I had no complaints with the restaurant staff or beach. The only good part of my room was the big terrace I had. I have been to the country many times so it was ok, however if this is was my first experience in the country, I would describe it as too rustic. My room was up a spiral staircase and would not work if you had mobility issues or you were a bit big as I am tall and slim and I had to squeeze into the room between the door and the wall to get in. The washroom was so small my knees hit the wall when I was on the toilet. I was alone therefore I lived with it but for 2 people it would be very very tight. I did like the close access to beach and beach chair available for us to enjoy.

Excellent personnel, hôtel sans prétention

Management orienté service au client, ce qui est vraiment agréable. Des choses à améliorer : il n'y a pas de bouteille d'eau dans la chambre, le lit était mal fait (j'ai dû chercher les draps), musique très forte dans le patio sur lequel donnent les chambres de 10h30 à 22h30.

Huone yksinkertaimen, siisti. Ei turvakaappia huoneessa vaikka se oli mainittu listalla. Ravintola hyvä mutta kallis. Jenkkimusa soi, eikä paikallista musiikkia saanut tilaamallakaan. Ei hyviä tanssipaikkoja lähellä, jos kaipaa bachataa ja salsaa. Mutta jos tykkää regettonista, niin sitä kyllä saa kuunnella koko päivän.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Capri Beach House....what a wonderful find! We stayed 4 nights in a large clean room with beach view. Food and drinks at the hotel are fantastic and we still saved money over a large crowded all-inclusive. This is a smaller bed and breakfast with a friendly vibe and personal service. Cleanest section of beach for a mile in either direction. They do a great job! Only downfall is that the music can be a bit loud at night if you want to retire early.

This place is truly a find!

This place is truly a find! I just love this place. At the end of a small very local town is in unassuming little boutique hotel. Smacked dab on the best beach. The rooms are small but newly constructed, comfortable, and you can hear the waves crashing you to sleep every night. It's a happy little place. Everybody at the hotel and town are very happy you're there and treat you like your appreciated. Versus a mega all inclusive where you pay 5X for a garden room a mile from beach. I went with a small child and was very safe. There is a charm about this hotel, and probably the best bang for the buck I've ever experienced.

Great general experience but restaurant sucks service is so slow i had to complain a fee times just for a waiter to take my order and then i gave up waiting on the bill i went to the room and came back later to pay
