But as I do want the to stay in business… It is a serene, well built hotel on the water with shady spots and set up to catch the breeze. The hotel serves breakfast; continental is free, but a made to order breakfast is also available ..."

"Absolutely wonderful experience. Super friendly staff it feels like home. The resort offers activities like tours and guided (cultural, onsite, and adventure) which makes it supper easy to stay entertained. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend to families, friends, or a couples trip."

"A great , secluded spot close to the center of Punta Gorda and less than 4 miles to Hillside Clinic where I served as a volunteer. Hosts and property managers were very engaging and helpful. Comfortable studio apartment, private bath, balcony , lovely pool and access to the ocean"

Verified traveler

The food at Copal Tree Lodge was it's weakest point. Nothing to write home about and with the extreme lack of restaurants in town, it really is your only choice. It wasn't bad, but for a beautiful hotel like this with limited choices you want better.
