"We were very impressed when we arrived with how clean the property was. It was immaculate! The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate us. To the extent of purchasing an ice cream birthday cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday and helping us fix our broken wheels on our pushchair and ordering us pizza to be delivered. They were so helpful! What an amazing place to stay! You won’t be disappointed."

"We’ve been spending 6 days in the villa . Children called the best holiday ever . House and the outside area are wonderful, especially pool . We managed to relax ,spend time together . Our host Carmelo was extremely friendly , helpful all the time if we needed anything . I highly recommend this place . We might come back as well as there is still plenty to explore :-) thank you ."

"Villa Paola is a lovely property, set high above Donnalucata with a view down to the sea. The veranda is well shaded with good seating for eating outside. There is a bbq and a good size kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are modern. The aircon works well, essential for Sicily’s hot weather! "The house is better than the photos portray. It is quiet, feels almost rural, and is within an easy walk to the town square. The garden looks out over the sea across a mini vineyard and beautiful tropical plants. We spent so much time in the southern 'conservatory' where we could enjoy the view and stay cool - even though it was early September when we were there. "Das Haus ist wirklich toll und die Vermieter sehr nett. Auch wenn Kleinigkeiten in der Küche gefehlt haben (die vielleicht auch die meisten nicht brauchen wir z.B eine Käsereibe) war eigentlich alles da, was man braucht. Die Vermieter haben auch direkt immer alles vorbeigebracht wenn etwas gefehlt hat. Das Haus ist super Videoüberwacht und gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr sicher."

"Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

"Marcello was a wonderful host, attentive throughout our stay, regularly checking in to see if we were ok. He was there to greet us at the start and provided lots of little extras including delicious homemade arancini. The villa itself was ideal and the outside space with the pool was fabulous and well maintained. Staying in an Italian community in a seaside village was exactly what we wanted, just a shame we had to go home! Thanks Marcello"

"Wonderful experience at this hotel which is in a renovated palazzo. The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Marisa who recommended the zucchini pizza at the restaurant around the block. The room was fine, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was laid out the grand ballroom and there were many options to choose from in the buffet. We felt very well cared for from start to finish. Our only regret was that we were just staying one night. We wish we could have stayed longer. "
