"Overall, this hotel was excellent. When you enter, don't be fooled by the very dated furniture and worn carpet. They were kind to update my room, and the ac was excellent. The technology in the room was fabulous, and the breakfast was great. The dinner could use a bit of improvement. I had to add a fair amount of salt to the pasta, and the basil pasta just had a few basil leaves on top vs blended into the sauce. My only real gripes about the hotel were: the lovely terrace out front closes very early (maybe 8pm) and was completely closed upon my arrival at 6ishpm. This was especially inconvenient due to excessive heat, but itcwas nice and cool outside. It was stuffy and warm at the bar inside. My other gripe was they popped me with an additional 10 euros bc they called the cab to the airport for me which they did not communicate until the last minute. It is not really about the money, but the lack of consideration bc the taxis to airport are regulated in price."
