Shine Falls is a very impressive waterfall one hours drive from Napier. Follow the signs down a gravel road for 6km then hike the 30-40 minutes mostly uphill to the falls. Well worth the effort and is a beautiful scene.

We went for a walk up to one of the hidden treasures of Hawke's Bay on the weekend: Shine Falls. These 58m high falls are about an hours drive north of Napier, and then a further 1/2 hour walk up a good track with stunning views and cliffs on the way.
