"I've stayed in villas every holiday and have travelled to Malta and Gozo many times. Advertised as a 'cosy/quaint cottage' is mis-leading, as are the photographs that are meant to represent the accommodation. On arrival, the house was dirty, with cobwebs and a layer of dust/grime in the kitchen on the appliances and the oven was not clean. "The Villa was lovely, spacious, clean and the 6 of us had all we wanted, bedrooms and bathrooms each, even an extra bathroom. The pool was great too, real suntrap. We used the local bars and restaurants, all good, particularly D-Bar and Ta-Vestru. The little supermarket behind the church was great, an Alladins Cave! We used the open-topped bus for a tour of the island and found some great bays and sites which we revisited by local taxis and bus services. The owner was particularly friendly and...

"A disappointing apartment, certainly not worth over £110 per night. Very basic with unattractive furnishing. The advertised 'parking on site' is only 1 space for 2 apartments and was not available on our arrival - this should be made clear in the listing. There are cameras on the balcony and hot tub so we did not use either as it was so intrusive. When we arrived the bedsheets and towels smelt awful, they came to change but hardly any better. The air conditioning smelt bad and we had to sleep...
