"We booked this hotel for our stay in Berat and could not be happier with our choice. It is at the top of the hill by the castle, but the views are awesome, the staff very friendly, and the food was fantastic."

"The rooms are outdated and have a strong baby powder smell. While they provide the necessities, the furniture and overall condition need improvement — both chairs in our room were stained. There was also a private party during our stay, and the noise and music carried on until 2 a.m., making it hard to sleep. The location does not actually offer views of the Vjosa River from the rooms, only the mountains. On the positive side, breakfast was enjoyable with a nice view and good coffee, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s fine for a short stop to enjoy breakfast, but I would not recommend spending the night."

We were awoken to birds chirping in the morning and were surprised to learn they were pet birds kept in cages below our window. Great hotel with easy parking, easy walking distance to the castle. "Great rooms, immaculate, comfortable, air conditioning good when I worked out how to work it. First remote was broken but reception quickly gave me a replacement. Rooms very spacious. Good breakfast selection. They took orders for coffee, the rest was buffet. Very helpful with taxi and directions to chemist due to me being unwell. Beautiful breathtaking views from breakfast table. We would definitely stay here again. Right in centre as well, 20 mins or so walk to the castle, 5 mins from river and lots of cafes and restaurants around. Beautiful city and people very friendly."
