"We had high hopes for this home and we were very disappointed when we walked in. Home smelled like smoke badly and i have a child that has a hard time breathing around smoke smells. Pictures shown on vrbo are very different than what the home looks like in real life. Way beliw the level of pictures and just dingy dirty feel. Our towels were just thrown on the backs of the kitchen table, we didnt use them because we werent sure if they were even clean or not. Tv turns on but thats all it does,...

Surrounded by beautiful hiking trails, a gorge, and water falls. A quick bus ride and brief walk you can swim in lake Walensee. "Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Appenzell. Close to the historic town as well as grocery stores. A little difficulty finding the parking entrance, but the property manager was very helpful. We'd definitely recommend this comfortable home away from home."

"We have been to Rocks Resort in summer and winter, with and without children and can safely say that it has something for everyone. The apartments are stylish, well-equipped and well-maintained, beds are comfortable, there are plenty of facilities around for kids and adults. The surroundings are wonderful and offer a diverse range of activities in nature. Will certainly return!"
