"Fabulous hotel on the edge of the old quarter. Easily walkable. Room was quite small but perfect for me as a solo traveller. Breakfast was really good with lots of delicious options. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended "

"This cute hotel is really beautiful especially with its décor in the rooms. It definitely seemed very unique and I liked it and they were comfortable and had plenty of room. Not only that the manager was very pleasant and he was very kind and responsive. Him and the front desk were replying to all my questions and ensuring that I was comfortable which is was really sweet. Also, it's in a very beautiful location, within all of the old quarter buzz. It is such a great place to go if you are looking for a place to just put your feet up and relax. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I feel like there’s no doubt in my mind that it was good value for my money which makes me really want to go there again."

"I must say, I travel quite a bit and the Grand Hotel du Lac in Hanoi was spectacular. Gorgeous lobby, rooms and eating area. Yet what is even more amazing about this Hotel is the staff. Everyone speaks perfect English and is extremely courteous and helpful. Lily and Jack were especially instrumental in helping me navigate around the city. They added me to a WhatsApp chat and were extremely accommodating, responsive and easy to get a hold of, calling me cabs several times. They negotiated with the can driver on my behalf and when I didnt have time to go back to the hotel day of my return they arranged to have my luggage sent to the airport and coordinated so it showed up exactly when I arrived. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Hanoi, look no further. Love this place and all the staff!"

"Had a great stay here. Perfect location. Staff is top level. I had an issue the first night and the next day they caught me as I was leaving for the day and asked if they can go in the room. I came back and everything was fixed. The staff themselves are all super friendly and very welcoming. I’ll miss my morning chats with the front desk manager. She was amazing. Full of tips and recommendations. They even got me a cake for when I was leaving. Also the bed was the best bed my entire trip throughout Vietnam. Will deff come back here if I were to return to Hanoi. "
