"The Langham Melbourne is a gorgeous hotel, elegant and lovely staff. I always love a stand alone shower in a hotel - though the shower head could be further out from the wall). The only things that could be addressed is perhaps it is time for new mattresses, as the current ones have obvious dips and quicker service at the bar (we waited over 20 minutes for cocktails at 5PM on a Friday evening). Overall a gorgeous hotel, would stay again."

"Well located apartment very close to city with tram stop on you doorstep. Views were great, front desk was always manned, staff were always courteous., security access was good. Rooms were good but can be noisy as it is located on freeway. Didn't bother us too much but noise is obvious. There is a handy IGA located downstairs which was very helpful. I must point out that the gym is located in entrance foyer which we found wierd and uncomfortable. Otherwise very nice. Would stay here again"

"Very nice and comfortable room. Big overhead shower, nice and hot. Bed was firm and comfortable. Pillows were fresh and new. Well stocked kitchenette (utensils, microwave, induction stove, pots, pans, mini fridge). Very happy with the easy check in process. It was quiet too, considering the apartments are near a busy road, I slept very well."

"Arrogant dsek staff who refused to let my wife, daughter and three young children check in (who had been caught in a thunderstorm and were scared, soaking wet and cold), because the Hotels.com booking was in my own name. My wife had ID with Medicare card, drivers license with address, and my mobile number as proof of identity. Even after I had uploaded the booking reference number with my wife named as a guest, the smart-arse on the desk said he "couldn't read it. Will never stay there again and will advise my many dozens of fellow travellers we regularly share trips with, not to consider this venue. We have travelled around the world many times and locally dozens of times, and have never struck such a moronic group of desk staff (who by the way could barely speak or be understood in our native language). "

"Lovely clean, homely comfortable 1 bed apartment. Good shower, nice to have balcony space and well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher with powder and liquid supplied. Enjoyed pool with amazing views of Melbourne, parking convenient, chargeable at 20 dollar's per night, walking distance to Woolworths and very convenient for tram. Enjoyed our stay here overall but somethings would make us not want to stay again at this Quest. In all honesty and we rarely leave negative remarks but we felt however this Quest was the least focused than all the others we stayed at during our ten week trip. There is a great coffee machine but regardless if you stay 10 nights or 1 night you only get 2 capsules your entire stay thereafter you pay, may as well book each night individually. You can have unlimited tea bags, instant coffee, laundry and dishwasher detergent but not capsules, so why bother supplying a machine in the apartment, just principle as never had this ever before in a Quest, it felt petty. The electric hob only one ring would work properly and the wifi was not good during our stay. We also asked for a high floor as possible with a city view, we got no view on the first floor, we know not guaranteed but didn’t feel it was personal just told all they had, we booked 6 months before. "
