It was also very close to the parade on Memorial Day which was nice. The back garden is large and peaceful if the weather is nice enough to sit outside. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. "The house was excellent - just as described. It was spacious, comfortable and gave us the historic feel we were looking for in the heart of Gettysburg. Location was ideal allowing easy walks to the Gettysburg circle, the battlefield and many options for dining / shopping. "This is a great property right in the heart of Gettysburg. Perfect for a long weekend. Very convenient to the battlefield and within walking distance of downtown. While it's an older home, it is very well maintained and nicely furnished. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening after walking back form dinner. Would definitely recommend."

"The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable. "The Inn was so close to everything we wanted to do. Dining, shopping, and other attractions. It was quiet, clean, and updated. We had a balcony which was so nice to sit on in the evening and relax. The front desk guy is awesome. He is super friendly and has a great sense of humor. He will help you with anything you need. The only thing I recommend is that if you have neck or shoulder problems, bring your own pillows. Their pillows were nice, but I wish I would have had my own. I do have shoulder issues and it would have been better with my own pillows. The bed was soft and comfortable also. I highly recommend this Inn and would definitely stay here again. If you do stay here, you must eat at Cottage Creperie. It is almost directly across the street from the Inn. I have nothing but good things to say about this place! 5 stars from me! . "
