"When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena. When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms. He then told us the restaurant on site is closed and so was the pool. It was early evening when we arrived. Great breakfast to start well your day in a beautiful dining room with restored frescoes by Renaissance artist Giulio Romano (who also worked for the Gonzaga Dukes dynasty. We had a room at the back which was very quiet and welcoming."

Overall I was very happy with my dtay at the Hotel Nuovo Sole in Bovolone."
