"When they say it matters where you stay they truly mean it. The property needs a major revamp. The quality of sheets, towels, appliances and furniture are so bad and outdated. I stayed for one night and almost didn't, I was willing to forfeit my payment that was made on Expedia to go to another hotel. The manager then changed my room without the whole floor smelling like smoke. I see why the rates are so low. I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay here. Only this that was comfortable was the mattress. Firm and comfy."

"My favorite place to stay in Rockwall. The Texas Cobb Salad w/Shrimp was amazing for dinner. Breakfast is always delightful, I tried the lobster Benedict and it didn’t disappoint. Chef’s kiss! Cleanliness isn’t every an issue but I clean upon arrival Only complaint was the comfort of the bed after 1 night of rest. This was an issue during our last visit and we had to request extra padding. Outside of the bed’s comfort this hotel stay was pleasant overall. "

"Great property with a ton of space for a large group. Large, open areas for gathering and a gorgeous lake view. Host was very responsive to any issues we encountered and dealt with them quickly. Would highly recommend this beautiful property!"
