"This property was a monastery. It’s renovated. You can see the details of the building, the manager explained the history of the buildings. That staff are very nice and go beyond to help you in everything. They have great choice for eating, the patio is a wonderful place to have a cup of wine, read, chat or the like. "The property was well kept and the people were outstanding in giving us any information we asked for. The location was 2nd to none. We enjoyed the long walks on the promenade and the breakfast at the hotel. I am eager to get back there to enjoy another vacation. "

"This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos. There is no better location to reach each of these in 1 hour, plus Potes, Sotres and Bulnes. Covadonga lakes are another 30 min, but beware private cars cannot go to Covadonga. You need to leave your car at a parking lot and they have taxis to take you the rest of the way. Besides location and hot springs, the hotel is very good, comfortable bed, excellent staff and great breakfast. They don’t have a coffee/tea kettle in the room. You need to buy that at the bar, but the waiter brought it all the way to my room. I would only say that they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, they are very old"

"The most luxurious hotel of our two weeks tour of France and Spain. The rooms were simply wonderful and felt as if we were being spoilt. Posh restaurant was still friendly and fun at breakfast. An absolute bargain for a two day stay with easy access to the Picos Mountains. "
