Great stay

Couldn’t ask for a friendlier staff, a cleaner room, excellent tackle shop and restaurant on site with your own boat launch and dock definitely would stay there again

Fantastic stay!

My family and I had a great stay! This motel was clean and in great shape, and I would stay there again if I ever pass that way. The restaurant has a great breakfast with a beautiful view of the lake. Excellent service and value for the price.

Just Great!

Good value, all of the staff we encountered were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at the restaurant. Great view of lake, good country breakfast. Service was great.

The Oak Ridge motel was very nice. Beds comfortable. Barry was very accommodating. Weather turned very cold so there wasn’t a staff but Barry checked in with us to make sure we had towels etc… Definitely would stay here again.

Chose to stay here for a HS fishing tournament. Rooms were more updated than the pics online. Friendly folks in the tackle shop and restaurant. Pretty good BBQ and a great boat ramp that wasn’t crowded at all! Perfect spot for us.

We had to cancel last min bc our fishing guide canceled but the hotel staff was super understanding and very accommodating. Trying to find us another guide and giving NG us good information. Would definitely recommend this place. Great people!

Quitman experience

Wanted to see Quitman at night. The manager/owner had turned on tv and a/c so nice and cool in the room. It’s an older lodge but clean. Beds were comfortable. On the lake so views were beautiful. Quitman is a fishing town and we weren’t there to fish. We would stay there again.

We arrived late due to a late flight and issues with the rental car. When we got to our room we were very disappointed to find hair and crumbs in our sheets.. The toilet was covered in urine and hadnt been cleaned in a while as there was a mold ring from the water sitting.. The next morning we ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent! The waitress there went with me to the cleaning supply room and assisted me in getting what i needed to properly clean the room. The smell of urine was too much for me and we ended up checking out two days early.. it was unfortunate the room was so bad because the staff were amazing..

I wound up not staying there. When I arrived no one was there and everything was closed. I had been told my room number and that the key would be in the key box. I could not find a key box or an office. There were literally no other guests or staff - it felt like the Bates Hotel in Psycho. As a female traveling alone it felt very unsafe. I left.
