"We spent one night at the FLC resort after our Vietage train trip. I chose this resort because they had 4 bedroom villas that could accommodate my family of 8 under one roof with very reasonable prices. The resort feels secluded and it looks like the expansion portion is half done, but we had a good stay! Some parts of the resort is a bit worn, but the villa was beautiful and HUGE. "The buffet was great, but the room was moldy, and we had to request a room change. We had two rooms in total, and the lock on the second room’s door was broken—it was never fixed. Be aware that you cannot bring food or drinks into your room, and if you’re caught, there’s a $200 USD fine. This means bringing your own alcohol is strictly prohibited, which is ridiculous considering we’re paying to stay at a resort, not a prison. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is in serious need of maintenance. It also looks like half of it is still under construction. We stayed in the “Luxury Tower,” but the only luxury aspect was the balcony view of the beach. If you’re expecting a five-star experience, lower your expectations to a 2-3 star level, and you’ll be fine. Good luck!"
