RAK summer unscripted

Real moments. Pure Ras Al Khaimah fun.

This is what happens when your creative team has too much fun in Ras Al Khaimah. Instead of sticking to a traditional ad shoot, we decided to flip the script. We handed the spotlight (and the camera) to our team and real tourists to capture the vibe as it happened—unfiltered, unplanned, and totally unscripted. From spontaneous beach moments to mountain adventures, every shot was created in the moment. The result? A summer campaign made by the people actually living it. It’s real, raw, and packed with the kind of energy you can’t script.

Because the best way to tell the RAK summer story… is to live it.

Unlock a world beyond imagination

Jebel Jais

Escape the heat in Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE. Jebel Jais is part of the majestic Al Hajar mountain range that extends into neighboring Oman. The climate is cooler than in the rest of the country, which makes the area great for trail walking and thrill-seeking.

Adventure lovers will love Jais Flight, the world's longest zipline, and Jais Tour, a family-friendly experience that winds its way through the mountain landscape. Foodies with a fascination for altitude can combine both passions at 1484 by Puro, the highest restaurant in the country, serving international specialties and afternoon tea at precisely 1,484 meters above sea level.

Dhayah Fort

The UNESCO World Heritage Tentative Listed site of Dhayah Fort lies a short drive from the centre of Ras Al Khaimah. As the only hill fort remaining in the UAE, it is a testament to the country's cultural heritage. The views of the Arabian Gulf and the nearby date palm gardens are spectacular. History buffs will love learning about the origins of the fort and the battles that took place in the area.

Al Jazeera Al Hamra

Al Jazeera Al Hamra, meaning Red Island, is the last remaining historical pearling village in the Gulf. Go back in time as you explore the ruins of what was once a thriving maritime trading outpost. Up until the beginning of the 20th century, the local Zaab tribe maintained a fleet of 25 pearling boats which contributed to the wealth of the village. Ruins of the fort, watchtower, mosque, souq and many courtyard houses with intricate details remain to this day.

Al Wadi Nature Reserve

Nestled in the Ras Al Khaimah desert of the UAE, is a sanctuary of natural beauty and biodiversity. Spanning over 1,235 acres, it offers a serene escape with its rolling sand dunes, indigenous flora, and diverse wildlife including Arabian oryx, gazelles, and desert foxes. The reserve is also home to the Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert resort, blending luxury with eco-conscious experiences. Visitors can enjoy guided nature walks, falconry displays, and horseback riding, all while learning about conservation efforts. Al Wadi is a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility, celebrating the rich heritage of the Arabian desert.

Suwaidi Pearl Farm

Pearl fishing is one of the UAE's most treasured traditions and Ras Al Khaimah is one of the places where this heritage lives on. Discover pearl fishing by visiting the Suwaidi Pearl Farm, the project of Abdulla Al Suwaidi whose grandfather Mohammed used to fish pearls by hand. Hear fishermen's stories and learn about traditional techniques and tools. Come aboard a beautiful pearl fishing boat to open oysters. If you're lucky, you might come home with the ultimate souvenir: your very own Emirati pearl.
