"We were only here for a night, but it was fantastic. When we checked in, after the front desk realized I was handicapped, immediately changed our room. I didn’t ask for an ADA room because I wasn’t showering but she said the original room was on a hill that was going to be hard to navigate. I didn’t even think about that. She not only put us in a better room, there was a ramp almost door to door from the car. I appreciated that more than she knows. We also had dinner at the lodge restaurant and not only was it the best roasted chicken I have ever had, my son exclaimed he had the best wings he’s ever had and my flourless chocolate torte was phenomenal. The view from our room was unmatched and my husband ended up hiking Stonyman almost by accident because the start of the trail was at the head of the road to our room. He went for a morning walk and bam! Next thing he knows he’s watching the sunrise at one of the most popular trails in the park ALONE. Pretty fantastic overnight if you ask me"

"Very clean and comfortable place. Great star gazing right off the back porch. Kitchen has the essentials. Very close to hiking spots in Shenandoah. Very hot water in the shower which is lovely after a long hike. Would stay here again if in the area."

"We loved this cabin! An easy drive from Luray but on enough land that it felt a little secluded. Clean and tidy as pictured with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking including a much appreciated full spice rack. The beds were comfortable and the mini splits provided a comfortable temperature. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit and large living room with picture windows. Good communication by text on the few issues that cropped up during our stay."
