"The house in Croatia was everything And more. The views of the mountains and the Adriatic Sea were amazing. The grounds were impeccable. The house was staged beautifully. We cooked, swam in that beautiful heated pool. We roasted chestnuts in the outdoor fireplace. Josip the host was super friendly and accommodating. "We had the best time at Villa Lavanda! This home is fabulous and has been meticulously renovated - it felt so special to stay here; a true Dalmatian gem! Manuela was a lovely host, super attentive and friendly. She set up a baby crib for our daughter and was always available via text. Highlights: AMAZING POOL and Garden, very large comfortable bedrooms, 5 min drive to Podgora beaches, gorgeous sunsets and unreal views of Croatia from any of the FIVE balconies. "The property owner was more than helpful. I honestly don’t think our trip would have been as enjoyable without the owners suggestions. Property was very accommodating for a family. The view was breathtaking and the city was charming. We attended the church next door, market is also next door. There is plenty of wine for the wine lovers. Beautiful beaches are never more than 20 minutes drive. Loved everything about our stay. Will be going again."

Great location although you do need a car unless you are a hiker. Central for Dubrovnik and Split as day trips with lots of Riveira resorts nearby. We had a great stay and we wanted for nothing. "We had a wonderful time in Viganj. The property was very well appointed and clean. The swimming pool was very welcome with the hot weather. Unfortunately my elderly parents struggled with the walk up the drive, and the lack of aircon in the living room. Otherwise a fantastic place that I would definitely recommend."

"The garden, pool and views to the sea were superb. The villa had a well equipped kitchen which was easy to prepare food. The inside of the villa was smaller than I expected but everything was comfortable and clean. The main drawback which I was not aware of on booking was that there was no internal staircase connecting the upstairs and downstairs of the property, which was not ideal for us as my mother who is 86 struggled to walk up the quite steep access path to the upstairs and car parking...
