"Overall I liked this hotel--I was there for 3 nights, Sun-Wednesday, including a bank holiday weekend, so it was busy. I was there for business. I decided to breakfast at the hotel on Tuesday morning as I had a full day. I checked at the front desk and was told I could just go straight there and the charge would be added to my room bill. On arrival, I was dismayed to be told by the waitress that I could not have breakfast there unless I paid first, and she asked for my credit card which of course I did not have with me. We debated the point but she insisted, and I was forced to leave the restaurant. All this in front of other guests. It was undignified and unnecessary. It was the one blot on an otherwise decent German hotel experience."

"The price I paid for a room and breakfast was about £73 per night which I thought was excellent value for money. The bedroom was rather basic but it did include a king sized bed with two separate duvets. The bathroom facilities were rather cramped but did include a walk-in shower. The hotel itself was away from SBahn and UBahn stations but they were walkable. The number 3 bus however gave easy travel from the Hauptbahnhof, although the stop was not easy to locate, to the hotel. As the hotel was in a one way street the return stop into the city centre was in the next road but easily located. Breakfast was the usual self service. There was no restaurant for other meals but there were self-service facilities to purchase food and drinks. However the sandwiches did run out. So I would describe this more as a snack service. However there were many eating establishments in the city centre."

"Pros: Excellent customer service at the front desk Great location Cons: The AC did not blow cold air and unfortunately rattled loudly. The room was really hot and stuffy even with the window open. It was a rough night trying to sleep. The dryer did not work, which I didn’t realize until after I started the wash, so I had to pack damp clothes the next morning, It would have been far more helpful if the sign about the dryer was placed on the door of the washer/dryer unit itself."

"A very nice hotel good position easy access from the airport very friendly staff."

"Room was clean, as were the separate toilet and shower facilities. It was just that I had economised too much. I should have paid extra for a proper room with a private bathroom and ample room for my luggage. Staff were really good and helpful. There was a reasonable bar in the wider reception area. This was also the area where a buffet breakfast was served. It was an "eat all you can" buffet, but the choice was very limited. No hot food at all. And the room was too small to accommodate all the guests. It was available only from 800am onwards, which was too late if I wanted a full day out."

"The restaurant and hotel is a work of art. The concert we attended was wonderful. It was close to many attractions. One of our three rooms fell short of the beautiful view. The restaurant food was amazing. We ate breakfast elsewhere."

"Didn’t see any staff during the two night stay. Online check in was confusing but eventually worked okay. Apartment was attractive, extremely spacious, clean, well equipped and quiet. There are a couple of restaurants and a supermarket around the corner. It is very convenient for the airport. Bus and U bahn close by. "
