"We stayed here for VT graduation and could not have picked a better place. The lodge is wonderful- clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The view outside is gorgeous and there is so much to do. Our kids loved playing frisbee and feeding the goats and donkeys. Our grad loved the Hokie decor, and the grandparents loved the beauty, peace, and quiet. We are already makign plans to come back."

"I came up for a "Dad's Weekend" with my VT kid. I first checked hotels and because it was the VT spring game and parents weekend, prices were outrageously high. I checked VRBO and this property came up. It was much more reasonably priced, had more space than I needed, and parking was convenient. The neighborhood isn't anything fancy, but I didn't go there to walk around Christiansburg, plus the 15min drive to VT is easy. All-in-all, much better than a hotel room. Would definitely stay there...

"Great location! Very clean town home behind Lane Stadium. You can walk to Lane, VT campus, Center Street and downtown. Only downside was mattresses were too hard for us. Highly recommend!"

"My sister and I were looking for a place to stay in Floyd while we were caring for our elderly dad. This apartment was perfect and was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The location was also great and very convenient to everything in Floyd. The owner was also amazing and helped accommodate us at the last minute and was very responsive. "The neighborhood is a little scarier for someone alone but inside is very safe and clean and quite large. Property manager sends out pre-written messages and says they already sent you codes when they hadn’t yet, but they will the night before so no need to worry. They failed to reply when I inquired about it, but I did have all information required the day of check in. Would definitely use again"

"The home is on a finger of Claytor Lake, which was quiet and out of the wind. It is eclectic with kitchen on bottom level and living room area on the second level. You can access both levels independently from the driveway. Overall, comfortable for our needs given the weather wasn't great but we were in town for graduation."

"No wifi and cell service is very spotty as one would expect. Not a criticism, just an observation. There are a good deal of steps to deal with so beware if you have mobility issues. The lake itself is a walk away, no direct views from the house. The rear deck needs some TLC."
