Villa Il Giardino with Private Swimming Pool, Garden, Ideal for Weddings

VILLA IL GIARDINO is an elegant and cosy three-storey villa in Florentine style which can accommodate from 18 to 26 people. From Villa Il Giardino, you’ll be able to admire a captivating view of the green countryside and hills. The villa is about 700 square meters and features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning, heating, parking and Wi-Fi.

This elegant villa was built in Florentine style during the second half of the 18th century, on the site of a former village dating from the early middle ages, linked to the pilgrim route known as the Via Francigena. Today, surrounded by holm oaks and cypress trees on a hill with an extraordinary view, Villa Il Giardino is a refined, furnished private villa where you can take in the history and grace of the past. It is made even more elegant by the large circular garden at the entrance and is ideal for events. Being a former hunting lodge, the villa still preserves the features of the 18th-century estate created for banquets and ceremonies related to the coming of spring and the fertility of the earth.

Villa Il Giardino is the perfect venue, whether for a large family reunion or any other truly special occasion.

The villa is about a two-hour drive from Florence and has previously been used by Italian celebrities like Vittorio Gassman and Federico Fellini (whom one of the rooms is named after).

Just 5 km away from Radicofani, the villa is also often used for weddings and yoga retreats and is an incredible base for exploring the Siena region. Perugia and Terni are just 90 minutes away by car.

On the ground floor, there are three large rooms, two of which feature stone fireplaces and one which contains a piano. These lounges provide direct access to the semi-circular terracotta solarium. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom with shower.

Also on the ground floor, is a study, a cosy bar area with professional espresso machine and a well-equipped kitchen, containing a dishwasher, two fridges, a freezer, an electric oven, a microwave, two kettles, two toasters and a juicer. Finally, there is also a laundry room, a small lounge with TV and a bathroom with shower.

On the first floor, there are three twin bedrooms and five double bedrooms; one of which has access to a large panoramic terrace. Each of the bedrooms has a private bathroom with shower.

In the basement, there is a large relaxation room featuring a TV with satellite channels and an exit leading to the pool area. On this floor, there is also a twin bedroom, a double bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub and a small WC. In the orangery, there are two further double bedrooms with bathroom.

Animals are most welcome. The villa is equipped with laundry facilities and a pantry.

The historic estate is further enhanced by a beautiful infinity pool (6x12m), 145 cm deep and a barbecue area with gazebo. There is an excellent WiFi connection, both inside and outside the building, including the pool area. The villa also features a safe, private parking area and a large park of holm oaks and cypress trees.

Depending on the number of guests, bedrooms that are not required will remain locked. For a rental of up to 22 people, the basement will be completely closed. With the two additional double bedrooms in the basement, the villa can comfortably accommodate up to 26 people.


Important things to know:

- Rates are based on 26 guests; it is possible to rent the villa for 22 or 18 people. Ask us for a quotation.
- Tourist tax not included. Tourist tax in Italy is not a national tax but it’s a local tax that is applied by municipality. This means that Amore Rentals villas are in a territory on which the tax is not always applied and if applied it has different costs. In addition, municipality can decide to change the entity of the tax. It is for this reason that it’s not possible for us to specify with certainty the presence and the entity of the tax. Where the tourist tax is required, it will be paid on the site in cash.
- Damage deposit: 1.000,00 Euros. The damage deposit will be returned prior to your departure unless there are accidental damages to the property.
- Heating not included. It will be paid in cash on site, in base of consumption.
- Air conditioning not included. It will be paid in cash on site, in base on consumption.
- Pet friendly. Cleaning: 25,00 Euros per week.
- Baby cot on request: 30,00 Euros per week.
