"This place was always is an absolute gem. I have stayed here many times all the way back to when I was a child. I now bring my wife here when we want to escape to a quiet place. Even in the winter there is plenty to do and it is 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and all the shopping. It has everything one needs in terms of nearby shopping, comfort, excellent service and the overall cottage feel. I will always return when I can. This is such an enjoyable place to spend your time off."

Great views of the lake in front, moorehaven cabin has sunroom with screen perfect for summer safe from mosqhito bites! Highly recommended."

"The cottage was a total treat for the our adult family. The setting was beautiful and oh, so quiet while we were there. So relaxing. Kudos to the owners for having such elegant and easy to use components - the living room TV was pre-wired for movie watching - no fussing with complex logins or settings. The HVAC system (we needed both heating and cooling during our week) was a simple one-touch master thermostat and the kitchen was a delight: fully stocked with every imaginable dish and utensil type needed (we stayed in for all our meals). We would highly recommend this cottage!"
