"I was very impressed with the home; it was very well appointed; the cleaners did a great job; the host was very responsive to my questions and the view was superb! "The house was a perfect retreat for our family. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. The view was fantastic, we saw seals, lions and even a deer swimming. No fog (unbelievable), just sunshine. Location is great - close to LaHave and beaches. Enjoyed outside decks/ furniture, and hot tub and sauna. Had a lobster dinner at the outside table! Host was responsive to our concerns ( propane tank empty and sauna light not working). Opportunity for improvement would be lawn maintenance. Trimming grass around the fire pit area and fences."

"We loved our stay in this large, charming, antique home! It was comfortable, clean, peaceful, and an excellent value. Mike was extremely responsive and helpful, and the home was very well supplied with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer, they were a wonderful convenience during our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay which was for a family wedding in Port Mouton. The property was stunning and spacious and worked perfectly for our family with 5 adults. The location was amazing with a beach just across the street just a few steps from the property. This would be perfect for a family and the fact that the listing accepts pets is a bonus for those travelling with furry ones (we didn't bring our pets but appreciate listings that do). Also there were extra beach towels and lots of coffee pods and other touches that were provided at the property. Leah the host was also responsive to our communications and very helpful.Be prepared to enjoy a lovely property, in a fantastic location."

"Lovely host. The property is not a cabin as posted but a lovely little separate room under the owner’s home. Everything was there for a comfortable stay. Loved listening to the loons call from the lake as we fell asleep."
