"Positives:
- The hotel has very clean and new rooms with beautiful clean bathrooms, which made me feel comfortable.
-The surrounding is usually quiet and offers enough small shops and restaurants.
- Also the town has most facilities you need and its filled with kind, helpful residents.
Downsides:
- I found white stains on two of the bed pillows.
- On one of the nights there was a very loud party going on in the hotels' restaurant downstairs until 00:30 hrs. The building is definitely not soundproof. The next morning I had to get up at 7AM, because of a safari tour. But because of the party noise I didnt sleep well at all, which was frustrating. They should be more considerate of guests who need their sleep. Also, some of their staff should be trained better in tourism, but overall they were very nice and happy to help."
"From the greetings on arrival to the moment of departure, the staff and owners were only too happy to assist us.
If you are looking for a place to relax and hang by the pool or walk down laneways for 10 minutes to a great swimming beach, this place is just great to wind down from the usual tourist trails.
The grounds surrounding our accommodation had lots of wildlife, squirrels, geese and even some resident eagles in the coconut palms.. For western travellers, it's handy to know that they have reasonable bar with cold beer and glasses too..A tuk tuk into town is only 5 minutes when you want to see some of the sights such as the Dutch fort."
