The house is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a breakfast bar, a fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security.
The space
Rakaia is nice and easy to get around. It is flat and small and has everything you need there. I love the sunny days and it can get cold being in the South Island so it is beneficial to bring a warm jacket. Locals are very friendly and there is usually something going on at one of the pubs -the South or Railway. Good coffees at the Mobil, nice Indian food, takeaway fish and chips, a small supermarket, and good roasts and other meals at the Railway Tavern.

My onsite security includes two outside cameras and my border Paul who lives right down the back in a caravan. Maveric his boxer is behind a gate and is so friendly. Paul keeps the outside tidy and takes care of my home.
Other things to note
We do weekly cleans. If you book longer than 10 days we visit on each 7th day at a convenient time.
