"Lovely, off the beaten path traditional fishing cottages in a remote area of Lofoten. Sadly, after having booked almost a year ahead of time, one of our (5) cottages was located quite far away from the others which was annoying. Staff tried to convince us that the far away cabin "was the best cabin" ..."

#beachtips If a wild camping paradise exists, it would be on Kvalvika Beach on the Lofoten Islands in Norway. This place can only be reached on foot, after doing a mountain hike, and is always packed with wild campers who come there to enoy the midnight sun. I shot this photo in July 2017, around midnight, when the sun was at its lowest point and shade was covering parts of the beach.
