After a walk of 3km through the rain forest ,finally, we reached to the upper cascade of Ramboda. The water of Kothmala river falls down from a height of 109m to form this beautiful waterfall.

There are 6 waterfalls in Ramboda and Thawalamthenna. Altogether, we walked 32km in order to see all the six waterfalls and amazing wildlife of the rain forests.

This is the smallest member of deer family which present in Sri Lanka It is known as mouse-deer and a threaten species. We are really lucky to see these two awesome guys in a small flat area in hilly rain forest on our way to Ramboda falls. We never tried to disturb them by taking many photos as they are afraid of human. This was the one and only mammal which caught in our camera on our way to upper cascade and undoubtedly, it is one in a life time chance!
